The Prep Schools online guide was created in 1997 and by 2010 has grown to include listings of more than 600 preparatory schools in the United Kingdom. The website was purchased at the end of 2009 by Gabbitas Educational Services. Gabbitas was established in 1873 and is a highly respected educational consultancy. Gabbitas has more than 125 years' experience of providing services to parents, teachers and schools in all aspects of independent education. Gabbitas itself was purchased by the Prospects group in 2008.
Prospects is one of the United Kingdom's leading providers of information, advice and guidance services for young people.
