School Profile
Cameron House aims to produce academically confident pupils who appreciate the virtues of courtesy, good manners and kindness, and are positive-minded and confident. Our highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff create a stimulating environment in which initiative and individual objectives can flourish. The curriculum is broadly based and designed to cultivate a wide range of interests, though emphasis is placed on the core curriculum. Essential disciplines are balanced with aesthetic and practical activities such as speech and drama, debating and French. The school is well equipped with its own class libraries, and a dedicated IT room with a bank of mobile laptops. Pupils discover their talents through a wide variety of optional clubs after school. Children are encouraged to join the choirs to develop singing talent. The learning process necessarily focuses on public exams. For boys these can take place at any time after the age of 8. Girls are prepared for the entrance exam to independent London day or country boarding schools.
