Newton Prep is a vibrant school which offers a challenging education for inquisitive children who are eager to engage fully with the world in which they are growing up.
The school has expanded above and around the original Victorian building. The modern extension comprises a further sixteen classrooms, a multispace area, two gyms, a dining room, spacious art studios and an Auditorium. The premises are bright and spacious. The school has an all weather pitch, which is used for tennis, cricket, netball and football, as well as a school garden, all within the 1.5 acres that adjoin the school. Newton Prep has fully equipped science and ICT suites and a computerised library of over 15,000 books. The extra curricular activities available include: judo, fencing, speech and drama, yoga, ballet, modern dance and Mandarin Chinese.
Means tested scholarships are available at 8 years +.
